Nivani Limited is threatening to pull out of building facilities for the 7th PNG Games in West New Britain, if it is not paid for the work it has done so far. The contractor company started work on the games site in December last year, and is yet to receive a single toea of payment. In an email to the Host Organizing Committee, Nivani's Managing Director, Dave Staen says they want a payment in fourteen days. Chairman of the Host Organizing Committtee, Dacca Waggai, says they are still waiting for the Bank of PNG to release monies from a trust fund meant for the games. But Mr. Waggai says, they've managed to secure some funding from other sources through the Sports Foundation. NBC/PNGfacts
