Mr O’Neill said Kouza has voluntarily stepped aside as minister to take up the chairperson of the commission. He said parliament would approve the establishment of the commission anytime before the November budget session. He said all parties have been consulted in the province for the creation of the commission. He said added that consultation meeting will be conducted while consultations with stakeholders like the Morobe provincvial government and other parties have progressed well and would continue while a new legislation would be drafted to be tabled in parliament for the creation of the commission. However several people including the Governor Kelly Naru have come out public to go against the creation of the body as the provincial government would miss a lot in terms of revenues.
