A charity group dealing with people living with disabilities has praised Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill’s leadership. The Reverend Percy Schilencker Memorial Charity Foundation said that Prime Minister O’Neill who was appointed through the legal parliamentary process has performed well.
Foundation administrator Gasiri Babona said in a statement that there has been creation of new policy initiatives with effect of being legislated by Parliament. “The true prosperity of a nation is improvement of living standard of all people including rural, marginalised citizens, and all level including wage increase for wage earners. This is a norm of good governance.” “When you assess the performance of Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill’s leadership in relation to the norm of governance it is at high distinction,” Mr Gabona said. “The government of Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill have initiated many policies in the spirit of good governance, just to name a few; Sovereign Wealth Fund, revamp land mobilisation, agriculture infrastructure, social protection, electrification, free education, health subsidy and church development among others.” “Where is justice between political call for resignation and good work of serving the poor that have now taken place in government? There is real hope for the people with disabilities and the elderly. “Let the people’s Prime Minister do what he can do for the nation of Papua New Guinea.” Mr Babona said. Comments are closed.
