Due to its success it has been expanded and continued .
A cheque of K176,250.00 was presented to the BALOB administration today for the 2015 sponsorship to cover continuing and new students. The occasion was witnessed by the BALOB TC's administration represented by the principal Mr Jerry Hendungao. Mr Basil while presenting the sponsorship fees encouraged the students to be a good citizen of Bulolo during their time in the college because funds that is supposed to address developmental issues has been spent on their fees and they must work hard to show the people of Bulolo that their money was well spent. Both the Balop TC's administration and the chairman of the Bulolo District agreed that 2016 recruitment will be conducted during the 2015 3rd term holiday to avoid last minute rush in the beginning of every academic year. The recruitment processes will take place at the LLG level and no longer in Bulolo or Wau Township where some processes were irregular and improperly done causing cancellations and frustrations. All graduating students of 2015 will be given the first option to apply out of this program to teach in their own localities. Mr Basil also challenged the students to note that they must work hard in class but also engage in agriculture and contribute to the national purse so that the monies are earned. A light refreshment was provided by the BALOB teachers college chefs to end the program.
