Air Niugini wishes to advise the traveling public that the airline will resume services to Nadi International airport, Fiji effective tomorrow, Wednesday 24th February. The decision to resume services was made after all risk assessments were carried out over the last two days and clearance given. Air Niugini cancelled its service to Nadi on Saturday(20th February) due to cyclone Winston which swept through the country over the weekend, causing millions of dollars worth of damage to properties and infrastructure, several deaths were recorded and thousands of people made homeless. Flight PX 084 only operated to Honiara, Solomon Islands and back, the Honiara/Nadi sector was cancelled. Passengers who have been disrupted on Saturday’s flight are advised to call in at your nearest Air Niugini Sales office or your preferred travel agent to revalidate your booking so that you can be accommodated on tomorrow’s schedule flight. ANG operates three weekly flights to Nadi via Honiara every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
