After introduced and successfully guiding the most successful education policy in the last 17 years, Enga Governor Peter Ipatas, also known widely as the “Action Governor” has moved priority to health with the establishment of the Enga Provincial Health Authority. He told more than 20 medical doctors including a group of Port Moresby based medical practitioners during a function he hosted (for them) last week at the Ipatas Centre that he would spend more than half of his provincial services improvement program (PSIP) fund of K20 million on health programs. He said he would maintain the special doctors’ incentive fund (allowance) including paying for their children’s education, funding specialists’ training among others while ensuring that the K320 million state of the art new Enga hospital gets off the ground next year
