A Reserve Police Constable was chopped to death in the Kandep District of Enga over the weekend. The killing is in relation to a 2007 killing. Acting Provincial Police commander, Chief Inspector, Epense Nili told N-B-C news that the suspect has been arrested and held in custody at the Wabag Police cell, while the situation is being monitored closely. In a separate incident, a young man was killed after he disturbed a group of boys, who were trying to steal a church generator set. The deceased is the son of the pastor. The incident occurred at Pilikambi Secondary School at Laiagam in the Poregra District. A suspect was picked up and is now in police custody.
