Madang Police have rounded up twelve suspects for questioning over the killing of an Asian retail manager in town last week.
The suspects were rounded up in separate police raids conducted over the weekend at Billia, Pana Island and Mambu Market up the South coast. The suspects are in police custody and will be questioned over the robbery of more than 100-thousand Kina from the Malaysian businessman, and his cold-blooded murder. The police raid also resulted in the arrest of an escapee 21-year old Allan Aling, wanted for robbing Australian billionaire Kerry Stokes last year, and 24-year old Linus Hubert, for a string of armed robberies in town.
