Bmobile-Vodafone announced that the St John’s, Port Moresby emergency number 111 is now accessible 24 x7 by all its subscribers.
Group Chief Executive Officer of Bmobile-Vodafone, Mr Sundar Ramamurthy said that "As a part of our community initiative our customers can now be able to call the St John’s emergency number 111 in case of any emergency any time of the day or night. This will enable St John’s ambulance service to reach the scene of emergency at the earliest response” Commissioner Ambulance Services Ms. Courtney Muller thanked Bmobile-Vodafone for this initiative as the emergency number 111 was not accessible to the public and this service will now enable faster turnaround time and help save lives.
